Nashville Flood

Just watching images of this on CNN..  Wow, that is something.  Those poor people...and so many with no flood insurance.  People are just completely wiped out.  I haven't caught if there were any deaths yet, but I would think there must be a few.  It does warm my heart that so many of the country stars are stepping up to the plate to help financially.  It's nice to see them give back.  But what a mess....my heart goes out to the people there.

Yes, it really is so terrible.  I used to read about Mother Nature with fondness and now I'm scared of her.  She seems very angry!  I always say it, how quickly your life can change.  I feel terrible for all who have lost because of the floods---------  lives, homes, memories.  May they still have their hope and faith.  Yes, it is really so terrible.

Last I heard 15 people had died....... So terrible....

My parents have travelled there a few times and they absolutely love it.  They drive to Florida every year (they live in Ontario) and almost always spend a few days in Nashville.  They also have told me that the people are incredibly friendly and welcoming.  Its just so awful.  I think I caught that there were a few deaths?  Do you know if that's true?  I hope not.  So very sad.

This is just awful...I fell horrible for these people....
We visited it for the first time about 5 years ago for one of my husbands work confrencesI at the Opry Land Hotel....That hotel was beautiful and huge...It was terrible to see it flooded... love Nashville! My husband and I go there when we are needing a cheap/close place to vacation.....Theres so much musical history and memrobilia that cannot be replaced.
The old honky tonks ,country music hall of fame,The grand ole opry...
We always have a great time and the people are extremely nice.....
Even if your not a country music fan (which we really are not)you cannot go there and not have fun......

My da lives in Tenn. She said they got massive amounts of rain but where she lives she did not get the flooding. When she finally contacted me after it was all over and I was having anxiety attacks like crazy, I finally found out she was okay. Kids! Is a sad situation for sure, I think Memphis got it the worst.
