The "concept" is great -- it's the implementation that stinks.........Why should illegals get more/better benefits than our own people? They shouldn't.

I support the concept of all those public benefits. Then again they were not created to be misused. Any existing restrictions on them as regards immigration status should remain and people who immigrate here for any reason should not do so specifically to recieve benefits nor should amnesty be granted that would allow accesss to those benefits for large numbers of people who have not worked in the United States and paid into the system.
Well if ya count Social Security, Medicare, Medicaid, and all those pell grants and student loans. I guess we been a socialistic society for bout going on what 60 years or so? Obama wadnt pres then tho, and them illegals was here for he was? Unless my memory is failing me, altho I do agree the borders should be closed. Ok, now we can get a job, a house, money, and credit cards, free education, too! I'm taking my grand daughter so she can quit her part-time job at the age of 16 for her future!! Oh, do we get to skip taxes, too? Was that a free ride or what! I'd walk a mile for that!! Do we need to wait until dark, or can we climb over in the daylight?
