Worldwide Recall?

I heard on the morning news that there will be a world wide recall of Toyota Prius 2010 models. Im wondering how much money they have? Cause they are gonna lose tons of it. And it will be interesting to see what happens to their good name on the other end of this. Do you have one? In light of what has happened would you buy another, or for first time buyers is this enuff to turn you away from Toyota altogether. I heard also that Ford was having some issues as well, but lately no further word on that. I wonder why? What say you?

I heard on the news that alot of the calls from toyota owners had nothing to do with the cars on the recall list. I have one and that does not make me feel warm and fuzzy! Now its the prius and the lexis? My husband said the problem with the brakes sticking is that they changed the system from a rod to a sensor. The sensor is malfunctioning.  I think they call that Progress?  lol

im getting a MILLION calls of people saying that their speedometer isnt working....i had like 5 yesterday and already a few today.... hope thats not the next recall the chevy is going to come out with.......

i work at ed morse chevrolet and the phones have NOT stopped ringing!!... these recalls have sent people mad even if they DONT OWN A TOYOTA!!!....lol i had this lady calling freaking out about some recall that had nothing to do with her car!!....we have the normal recalls with the GMC,chevy models, like spark plug wires, or gas caps. but those toyota recalls are going to do some SERIOUS money damage to that company....

ponitac and chrystler have gone out of business....wonder who is next......
