Bristol Palin's Bar Fight Zinger: I Can Tell You're Gay

Bristol Palin should have learned from her mom's experience in 2008 to be careful around TV cameras because your least articulate moments will be captured and rebroadcast forever. But it looks like she did not. Bristol is being filmed for a reality show to air on the BIO Channel, and they followed her to a Los Angeles bar. She let them film her ride a mechanical bull -- maybe to let viewers see her fun, non-teen mom side. No big deal. But she took a false step when she let herself get pulled into a bar fight. When a man told Bristol that Sarah Palin was "a *****," Bristol made an unfortunate choice in selecting her zinger. "Is it because you're a homosexual?" she asked. "Because I can tell you are."
Man: She [your mother] is evil.
Bristol: You want her dead?
Man: You know what, if there is a hell, and I don't think there is one, she will be there.
Bristol: OK, why is that?
Man: She's evil. She's evil.
Bristol: Is it because you're a homosexual?
Man: [ironic tone] Pretty much!
Bristol: And that's why you hate her?
Man: And why do you say I'm a homosexual?
Bristol: Because I can tell you are.

At least 1000 incidents of the same nature happened and they aren't in the news. Plenty of hate bred towards Bristol, so keep that stuff moving. It is ridiculous.... Back in the Carter days, (I was young but not stupid) I found it ridiculous that anyone would be talking about how Amy Carter looked..... how in the hell was that news worthy?
And I totally agree with WHY is this news?
They absolutely did sue me and I ended up paying for this kids dental work which he probably would not have taken care of if not by me. My son had to be checked for human bites so add an ER visit to the tab. Oh those were the days!~

Well, I too think something indifferent happened or is happening around the home, but also... being thrust into the spotlight like they have, with no of their own discretion is a problem too. I don't mean to sound gross, but the media is almost to the point when they will report on when Bristol or Sarah went to the bathroom and how appropriate the timing was in doing so.... you see what I am getting at? It is just so easy to do these days. The media is everywhere, the cameras and microphones are always on.
Too, this girl is what... 20, maybe 21 years old? Far from having the poise a lot of us expect from her. Listen and watch what people 2-3x her age are doing in the spotlight! She was put there, and now is somehow trying to make a living or make due with it.
Listen to all of the gaffes that are reported in the news that make obvious relatively intelligent people look like complete idiots..... (some are idiots, by the way....LOL...myself included.)

Well I agree with you on that...why it makes news is beyond me...Its so sad really...she is a very messed up kid (imo) trying to get attention all the time. Her x boyfriend..same thing....what is it with these kids? In my opinion, it speaks volumes about the messed up homes they come from. (I may be wrong, but just my hunch)

With all due respect, I do think she handled herself in the correct fashion.... but for the life of me, I'll never understand how this became news worthy. Why on God's green earth does anyone give a dang about what this girl said, and who is this desperate to make this news?
The last time a guy called me a *****, my son knocked out all 4 or his rotten teeth, He was all of about 15. You dont, you dont disrespect someones mama to their face. Not if ya wanna live. lol

Some guy was a hater and yelling hateful things to her about her mother..calling her terribe names and the kid did well in my opinion. She kept asking him what her mother did wrong and the man says "she breathes...shes evil" he said something about Sarah hating people??? This was a man oozing hate calling this childs mother a hater?

Why is it some forms of hate are considered acceptable and others are not? All hate is hate and all hate should not be allowed. Sorry...I am with the kid on this one....I didnt hear her call him anything hateful. (last I knew if you are homosexual its not an insult?...am I wrong?)...if I am straight and someone calls me straight..so what. Did I miss something?

Shouldnt even be news. Imagine if someone called your mother names and said she will be in hell. The natural reaction is to fight back.
