How much do YOU really know about some of President Obama's Czars?
The two that are on my mind today are the Regulatory czar, Cass Sunstein, and the Safe Schools czar, Kevin Jennings. How, how, HOW???
There are many czars - I don't even like that word(!!!) - but these two are particularly worrisome to me.

Thank you once again RJ I knew it wasnt lies , paranoia as is suggested here ...last night speech was full of lies...he said he was excluding Lobbyists....... he has 30 lobbyists ....where is the money coming from for all the student loans he has promised...We now have the 'Jobs Bill' not the Stimulous Bill......No mention of Terorism , and NO acknowledgement to the 2 Police who brought down Hassan at Fort Hood , one of whom was severly injured, and if she had not shot him he would have killed more in his Jhaid, OBama did however acknowledge Mrs Obama is going to fight child obesity .she got accolades for that ...
Under "Concurrent Resolution" paragraph 4, it seems they are concerned about the czars (39) affecting transparency to the public.

CONCURRENT RESOLUTION
Expressing the sense of Congress that the President should issue, and Congress should hold hearings on, a report and a certification regarding the responsibilities, authorities, and powers of his `czars'.
Whereas Congress recognizes that the Constitution vests in the executive branch the power to appoint Presidential advisers whose communications to the President are protected under executive privilege;
Whereas Congress recognizes the importance of coordinating executive agencies, and recognizes that Presidents often appoint special assistants, commonly referred to as `czars', to manage this coordination with regard to important areas of national policy, and to advise the President;
Whereas at least 36 czars have been appointed in 2009, raising concerns about the Federal government's provision of adequate transparency and accountability to the public; and
Whereas members of Congress are concerned that the appointment of these czars and their actions may subvert the legislative and oversight authority of Congress under article I of the Constitution: Now, therefore, be it
Resolved by the House of Representatives (the Senate concurring), That it is the sense of Congress that--
(1) the President should--
(A) issue a report to Congress clearly outlining the responsibilities, qualifications, and authorities of the special assistants to the President, commonly referred to as `czars', that he has appointed; and
(B) certify to Congress that such czars have not asserted and will not in the future assert any powers other than those granted by statute to a commissioned officer on the President's staff; and
(2) Congress should hold hearings on such report and such certification within 30 days after the date of their receipt.

No. Not everyone automatically thinks in a mindset that will accept ideas that are proven true whether they might have a different political stance. I am well aware that these "czars" have an agenda that is not in the best interest of America. I would think the less positions there are that are elected by the people of America the less of a democracy we have. I may be liberal but I don't see much in their agenda as benefiting myself or other people in America for that matter. I would say however that any government position that takes increasing control over people and how they should act and think (especially the latter) does detract from our democracy.
I would say that this occured in the last administration. But I would not say it began there either. But some pieces of legislation such as the Patriot Act (which was extended by Obama) may have been neccessary but parts of it increased control over America in a way that was completely unncessary such as the fact that one aspect of the Patriot Act made it illegal to engage in lawsuits against companies that made vaccines. That has nothing to do with protecting America against terrorists. It will be the same way with the current health care reform bill in that there will be parts of it that will be a specific politician's agenda and we won't know until it is passed. Transparecy in government is essential but it has not happenned yet. I will read up further on what was posted here.

Yes there were czars before now, but personally I would pick a better bunch than known Communists, people that liked dictatorship and killing innocent people. Talk about having Security for the President, those people should not even be near the White House. They made such a big deal of a couple that wanted to be part of the "in" crowd. Most of the time gov. jobs won't accept people that have been connected to such things. My question is his long list of friends, starting with Rev. Wright, has continued to be people that are ant-American or crooks or both. Who knows that many people with the type of back-grown that he does? Does he know anyone that has a good record with no hidden past of undesirable participations?

Nine were confirmed by the Senate, including the director of national intelligence ("intelligence czar"), the chief performance officer ("government performance czar") and the deputy interior secretary ("California water czar").
Eight more were not appointed by the president – the special advisor to the EPA overseeing its Great Lakes restoration plan ("Great Lakes czar") is EPA-appointed, for instance, and the assistant secretary for international affairs and special representative for border affairs ("border czar") is appointed by the secretary of homeland security.
Fifteen of the "czarships" Beck lists, including seven that are in neither of the above categories, were created by previous administrations. (In some cases, as with the "economic czar," the actual title – in this case, chairman of the president’s economic recovery advisory board – is new, but there has been an official overseeing the area in past administrations. In others, as with the special envoy to Sudan, the position is old but the "czar" appellation is new.)
In all, of the 32 positions in Beck’s list, only eight are Obama-appointed, unconfirmed, brand new czars.
These new "czars" include the special representative for Afghanistan and Pakistan; the director of recovery for auto communities and workers; the senior advisor for the president’s Automotive Task Force; the special adviser for green jobs, enterprise, and innovation at the White House Council on Environmental Quality; the federal chief information officer; the chair of the Recovery Act Transparency and Accountability Board; the White House director of urban affairs; and the White House coordinator for weapons of mass destruction, security and arms control. Or, as Glenn Beck would have it, the Afghanistan czar, the auto recovery czar, the car czar, the embattled green jobs czar, the information czar, the stimulus accountability czar, the urban affairs czar and the WMD policy czar.
Some of these new positions would have been meaningless in a previous administration. Previous presidents didn’t need an Automotive Task Force or a Recovery Act Transparency and Accountability Board. These positions are similar to George W. Bush’s "World Trade Center health czar" and "Gulf Coast reconstruction czar" in that they are new advisory positions created to deal with temporary challenges facing the administration. Others do represent new long-term concerns (urban affairs, climate change), but the act of appointing advisers to manage new areas of interest is hardly unique to the Obama administration. The Bush administration, for instance, created the "faith-based czar" and the "cybersecurity czar."
Another thing: Beck counts among his 32 "czars" three who have not been called "czars" by reporters at all, except in stories claiming that the Obama administration has lots of "czars." We’ve compiled a FactCheck.org list that discounts these positions, which seem to be "czars" only in the context of media czar-hysteria. (Our list also adds three czars Beck’s research didn’t find – a "diversity czar," a "manufacturing czar" and an "Iran czar.")

I have come to the conclusion that you are aware and it is also your agenda for this country, nothing more to be said , except we shall see..... the Progressive Movement has never won and it wont now, its already on the run , the Americans loyal to the Constitution ,the founding fathers and all we stand for are fighting back, this exceptional country will not be taken over by the radicals...
We were not questioning his use of czars , we know the History we were questioning their extreme radical ideology, READ RJs list again , Van Jones was got rid of as he said on TV he was a communist..Anita Dunn sang the praises of MAU Tse Tung ...the history of his senior advisors is very Progressive, its all out there no secrets ...

He would help himself if he threw out most of his senior advisors who are know with radical ties to the Progressive movement like Andy Stern (SEIU),George Sorros, Valerie Jarrett.Mark Loyd,Robert McChesney, Vic Jones they did get rid of he was a acknowledged Communist ..what about Anita Dunn,also gone, lover of Killer of 7 Million, Mau Tse Tung . I would love to ask this President why he has surrounded himself with all these radicals if he isnt one himself......
I think we have more than the Czars to be concerned about , the senior advisors have a lot to hide, Andy Stern, Valerie Jarrett,all left wing extremists ...all with ties to the Progressive movement .....
Unions can often guarantee people their standard rights as employees. However, they can become corrupt which has been an ever present problem. The idea of various "czars" (or even the term itself) controlling more and more aspects of people's lives did not start under Obama but I agree that they are an expansion of the government that is not neccessary. The government of the United States as designated under the constitution is there to serve the people of the United States not the reverse.
I thought it was a Victory this week that the Business Corporations won Free speech , so now business can compete with the Unions ...as the Unions put forward a left wing agenda and business could not compete ...
Well, if Cass Sunstein has his way, you and I may not be able to voice our opinions on the internet...HE'D try to limit stuff like that. I wish people would look up what he wrote/writes! He'd SO limit our free speech.
