Who’s the dad??

So I had sex with 2 guys and I’m pregnant. The dates of my last period was March the 7th to 11th and my last cycle was 31 days long. Had sex with guy number one on the 18th of March and guy number 2 on the 19th and 23rd of March. Found out I’m pregnant on the 3rd of April. How can I know who’s the father... please help

I'm sorry, and sorry that you had so much unprotected sex. What were you thinking in this day and age of AIDS? You've got to begin taking care of yourself, the guys are not going to.

OK, so you are not going to be able to tell from ultrasounds or the due date which guy has the edge, because neither does. Guy #1's sperm in your body would have been viable all through the times you had sex with guy #2. In other words, both men would have had living sperm in your reproductive tract when you ovulated. There is no way to split the difference between sex with one man one day and sex with the other man the next day.

All you can do now is a DNA paternity test. There are two reliable labs that do pre-natal tests, from a blood draw from the mom (her arm) and a swab or blood draw from the possible dads. But prenatal tests cost a bundle of money. If you totally and absolutely need to know (in other words, if you would abort if the baby is from one man but not if the baby is from the other) you absolutely must test with both men. And you will probably need to get a second job or a loan, it is that pricey of a test. If you can't do that and an abortion is not hanging in the balance (you would keep the baby no matter what), then just test when the baby comes. The cost is about a tenth as much, and the courts will back you up if either man gets balky about testing. You will need to go to a legitimate lab (no drugstore tests) for the test to be valid in court to determine paternity.

I'm sorry you are in this spot. But children are wonderful, you might come through this better than you think.

Just by the dates and the length of your cycle, either guy could be the dad. This means when you do a DNA test, you will need to test with both. If your cycles are always 31 days and never vary and are never shorter, the second guy has a slight edge, but unfortunately you would have needed at least a couple more days between sex with the first guy and your possible ovulation date to rule him out. Was the sex all unprotected?

31 days was the length of my last cycle it varies between 28 and 31. Unfortunalty it was all unprotected. The first guy ejaculated in me and never even told me. He just lied
