My due date is september 11 2009 and my lmp was 12-05-2008. but i didnt have sex with who i believe to be the father untill 12-19-2008 could he be my babys father????

not really sure but around the same time im just confused because wasnt i already like 2 weeks pregnant when i had sex on the 19th

If you slept with more than one person at the time of possible conception then a DNA test is the only way to know for sure who the father is. I believe you can get a DNA test done via amnio but there is a small risk of miscarrying with the amnio.

Well, they calculate pregnancy by the start of your LMP, so the 19th would have been roughly when you ovulated.  That guy is probably the father unless you had sex w/ someone else really close to that time, too.  Good luck to you!

My LMP was June 9,2009 and I concieved on June 23, 2009(well thats what the health dept said anyways). So that was 14 days later.................if your LMP was    12-05-2008 & you had sex with him on 12-19-2008 then that is 14 days later which is probably when you concieved so yes he is very likely the father of your child!!!  Hope this was helpful. Women ovulate 14 days BEFORE their periods not after, unless you have a perfect 28 day cycle. If your LMP was 12-5 then whoever you had sex with the first couple weeks after that period could be the father.

I'm having a little trouble understanding your comment about women ovulating 14 days *before* their periods "not after."  Women do ovulate about 14 days after the first day of their prior period.

A typical period cycle is counted as:  first day of bleeding = Day 1; ovulation -= Day 14; last day of old cycle = Day 28;and then first day of bleeding of next period, new Day 1.  

So, women with standard cycles presumably ovulate at a point 14 days after their last period begins and 14 days before their next period begins.  Not every woman has a 28 day cycle, but that's a typical schedule a doctor might assume.
