Can you have a DVT for a long time?

I'm a 21 y/o male, and due to severe mental health issues I've been confined to the home for over the past 6 months. I haven't left the house, so I've been VERY sedentary, besides moving around inside the house. At some point months ago I stayed in bed for days. I spend a lot of my day sitting at the computer.

About a few months ago, I started having this occasional dull ache in my left thigh, which kind of feels like muscle pain. I've had this for a few months now, so I'm wondering if it's possible to have a DVT that does nothing for a long time? Thanks.
