ddd and bacterial meningitis

Do you think there is a connection with bacterial meningitis and degenerative disc disease?

I don't know if there is a connection or not, but I did have bacterial meningitis 50 years ago and now have CDDD. I know there is risk of brain damage with meningitis, but I've never heard of any risk of DDD. If you find anything out, please let me know.

I have degenerative disk disease and was told its something your born with.I never had any problems until I tore a muscle in my lower back.Ouch it was painful.Bothers me now and then,mostly in the morning.Go to google.com and ask, I do that alot.
