Hi this is day 21 and they are not half as big as they was. They are almost gone you cant see them that bad now they did look like a big rip or like I like I took my finger nail and took the skin off of them and as wide as my thumb nail. They are about like a pin head and gone almost gone away think god, because cancer don't heal I know that. Just have never had them to last this long, and never had this but maybe two times. I wish i knew what caused them. I don't have no bottom teeth and i was on nexium for years and have not had it for about a month so i don't know but that is why i was asking and i would think after two MD and two Dentist they would know what to look for they told me at the dentist it was not cancer and he said if he thought it was he would and did have the stuff to check me for and send it off, but he said he did not see nothing that looked like that so my trust and life i took his word but never hurts to get a second opinion when its your life. I chewed snuff for a long time but i quit that was to much stress for me over something that can cause cancer so stupid for not stop a long time ago. I think when i put canker cover tabs over my sores then i would take them off it tore the skin but i think you for your help and if you can think of anything else please reply think you.
The causes of mouth sores can be anything from herpes, canker sores, stress ulcers etc. These ulcers could also possibly be a manifestation of systemic diseases like Bechet’s syndrome, HIV, autoimmune disorders and Crohns disease .Oral cancer is a rare but serious possibility. It commonly involves the lips or the tongue but can also occur on the cheek lining, floor of the mouth, gums and roof of the mouth. In oral cancer there is a sore, lump, or ulcer in the mouth which may be painless at first but can develop pain in later stages. Ulcers can take a couple of weeks to heal and are likely to keep appearing .Correct any underlying iron, vitamin B12 or folate deficiency if present. Do discuss above mentioned possibilities with your doctor.
Best wishes and regards!
