Anterior Maxillary Implant Question

You all have been so helpful. I really appreciate your thoughts on helping my confusion. I have another question and ask for anyones help.

Because I have been advised by at least one periodontist to have my front four upper teeth removed due to periodontal disease, I was wonder, in anyone's opinion, if two three pontic bridges supported by a capped canine tooth and an implant in the lateral position, would not be preferable to a four part bridge supported by three implants and then have the canine teeth crowned separately.

Would the natural canine teeth and implants in the lateral position next to them, supporting a three part bridge, be stronger than a single four part one?
Any information and opinions would be greatly appreciated.
Thank you.

Thank you so much for your response.  I guess it would be better to get the three implants and a four pontic bridge then.  I was hoping to get away with less implants in the #8 or 9 position.  I'm afraid of the cosmetic look with an implant right in the front, but worried about crowning the canines all together in the bridge, too.  Especially if a repair on the bridge was needed or the canines had a problem.
I appreciate the information.

The critical issue is cosmetic result in your condition. If you have long upper lip, the cosmetic result may be acceptable. If you are not sure what I am saying, you may need to consult your restorative dentist , he/she can give you the idea what the final restoration would look like. Implant is very rigid, and natural teeth have physiologic movement.Generally, splinting of an implant and natural teeth is not an ideal situation. However, sometimes we may compromise to suboptimal situation, if specific condition dictates.
