Bad Breath and Smelly Saliva

I have had bad breath for many years.  I was so depressed and is so cautious to talk to anyone.  However, when I discovered the Breezecare products from Australia and used it over the past two years, it did work but as I slowly decrease the dosage and uses, the saliva smells so so terribly than before.  I have really regretted using the products and am now trying to use natural remedies for my problem.  But somehow, it only work for a few minutes and after that the bad breath is back.  I am aware of personal oral hygiene, visiting the Dentist twice a year,  avoiding foods that causes offensive breath and even stopped taking dairy products.  But why does my breath still smell although my tongue is clean ??  The most offensive is my saliva as I do the lick-proof test several times a day.   I have stopped using the full range of products from Breezecare as I have relocated overseas and getting them through postage is timely and very expensive.  As soon as I finish using the last tube of KForce gel (toothpaste) I have, I know I am going to face with the biggest problem to find the solution to cure this embarrasing problem.  I can feel the phlegm accummulating in my throat over the past few days as I started using normal toothpaste once a day to prepare my mouth to use normal toothpaste again.

Please help me as I am worried sick and cannot focus on what I have to do for my family.

I have finally found the root cause to my bad breath problem !  I visited a Dentist to have a check and was told that my teeth and gum are fine by looking at it.   We then took two x-rays and one revealed a dark line on the gum with the embedded wisdom tooth.  The Dentist said that the wisdom tooth has caused infection to two other teeths nearby.  He suggested that the embedded wisdom tooth be removed through surgery as it is causing health problems.  I agreed immediately.  And although the surgery was quite an ordeal, the next day after the surgery, I did the lick test, the smella saliva is no longer there !!  I knew that I have been cured !!  What upsets me is I have been with my previous Dentist for 3 years and he has not solved and spotted my problem??
Anyway, I would really like to thank Scottma for his advice.  Without his advice, I would not have visited a Dentist as I have just relocated to a foreign land.

Thank you so much.

Thank you for your advice.  Will see a Dentist for check on decayed tooth structure and periodontal disease.  Also realized that a particular area between the teeth and molar bleeds when floss.

Please google " halitosis"(= malodered breath). You probably can find sufficient detailed information. In brief, halitosis is generally caused by a substance known as Volatile Sulfide Compound, which is produced by bacteria. Common source of VSC comes from decayed tooth structure and periodontitis. It is not uncommon that halitosis disappears after comprehensive periodontal treatment.Seeing a dentist is advised.
