Bruised tooth

Hi there I just been looking up things on a bruised tooth, went to the dentist today never thought you could get a bruised tooth! Anyway I'm in so much pain and he told me to take ibruphen and paracetamol to help but it only eases it for a few hours, it's horrible and taking over my daily life as I'm so sad these days due to the pain and I'm crying and I have a strong pain threshold, I was wondering if there was any home remedys anyone knew off that helped with the pain? Woild do anything I'm so tired off it now thanks

Clove oil is a best home remedy which can help to reduce pain of bruised tooth. It has anesthetic and antibacterial properties. Soak a small amount of cotton with mixture of ¼ teaspoon of olive oil and 2 or 3 drops of clove oil, then put the cotton in your mouth near the brushed tooth.
Caution: Don’t use at the bed time.
Note: If it does not work, then contact your dentist as quickly as possible.
