Canker Sores, White Patches?

Hi!

I have always gotten canker sores inside my mouth, since I was a little girl. Most of the time I have them for a couple of weeks, then they slowly start to dissappear. I currently have had one for about a week, but I'm starting to notice a few tiny white patches ( for lack of better discription ) inside my mouth too. They don't seem to hurt or cause any discomfort, but I'm just not sure what they could  be.

,  I have been tested for hsv multmultipletime, and those have all come back negative. Should I get retested?  What do you think these are?

Any advice/input /inpnfo would be great!

Thanks, Han

Seeing an oral medicine specialist is advised.

Is there a reason for concern?  My dental hygienist/dentist  said that canker sores and fever blisters are the same thing, and I know that's not true. Do you have any other input or ideas other than " seeing an oral medicine specialist"?  Any ideas?

Thank you

Information provided is insufficient to formulate meaningful differential diagnoses. Therefore, seeing an oral medicine specialist is advised.when you see an oral medicine specialist or oral pathologist, definite diagnosis generally can be established and appropriate management can be rendered.
