Coppery taste in mouth and spot with 'wrinkled' skin in inner cheek.

Hi There

I'm writing in concerns to a problem I've had for about three months, that has had me very worried and upset at times. I have this spot, on inside of my right cheek that looks all wrinkly and is not smmoth like the other cheek. Also, at times it will have a coppery/bitter taste if I rub it with my tongue. This spot used to be somewhat sore and stiff, but after I visited my dentist and recieved some cream that helped with that. But the spot still looks very unusual, and I've been using the cream for about a month. It was looking better for a time, but now it looks about the same again and I'm very concerned it could be something serious, or life threatening.

Any help would be greatly appreciated, Thank you for you time.

I doubt very much that this is life threatening. That being said you should not hesitate consulting an oral surgeon.

An oral surgen? Does that mean I need surgery for this? Sorry if that's a stupid question I guess I'm just not sure what you mean. But thank you very much for posting a reply to this.
