2 weeks ago today I had my two front teeth removed and got a temporary bridge. I started getting really bad headaches say 3 and now it;s wordsened so bad that I am dizzy and have chills. The Headaches are the worst pain, I want to put a belt around my head. So I went into my Dentist yesterday and was told, that I have dry socket. he took 3 seconds with me, and said did I ever think of going to my Regular Doctor for a sinus problem? that was it, he walked out. there was no meds, no compassion. no paper on how to care for Dry Socket? I cant get into my Dr until tommorrow. so here I sit with all the chills and pain in my face and head until tommorrow. I did not have this before my teeth were pulled, he made me feel stupid that I even went in to take this problem to him. He never gave me antibiotics or pain meds. in the first place and now coming to him barely able to drive myself I get this non compassionate reaction. My question is, should I trust him? is this normal? will it heal on it's own? or could this be serious and should I see my own Dr about this? She will probably be shocked that the dentist did nothing for me and send me back anyways...WWJD?
