I've had fillings done, even one redone and had injections to numb the area. Typically the side of the mouth feels a bit puffy and it's hard to talk. But today my Mom (age 82) had a filling replaced and had to have an injection. All went well but I noticed shortly after we left the office, the one side of her face was drooping. There were some other things going on that seemed like red flags to me (for stroke) but they could have been related to the shot. Has anyone seen such a marked response to a shot like this?
