Thanks lynn,
I do all that already, although mint gum usually makes it a million times worse haha. The multivitamin I take with B-12 and Zinc makes it all but unnoticeable. For a while I used Hydrogen Peroxide on it which nearly made it go away (don't do this though because doctors and dentists will be very upset with you for using that stuff on soft tissue). I stopped that once my dentist read me the riot act.
Also, to Lowan, my dentist also had a similarly indifferent response to my condition. I'm half hoping that hopefully they'll develop some kind of treatment for other more severe autoimmune diseases, which will give them insights into how they can cure this. (although this isn't proven to be any specific kind of disease.
Anyway, Thanks for the info guys.
Best,
Rob

there is no proven treatment. many cases are thought to be genetic. in some cases mint candy/gum can help with burning feeling. vitamin b can sometimes clear it up for awhile. some people have noticed some foods make the condition worse so try to avoid any potential triggers.
Also got it. As far as I'm aware there is no proven treatment and the ENT & Dentist that I've seen are pretty disinterested in my G.T, as they see lots of people with it, it rarely seem to cause too much pain and it doesn't lead to any worse conditions.
