Gum Red

For past 6-7 months my right upper side of gum area is red and sore. I am regular at cleaning every 6 mth. Last time when I went for cleaning I asked my dentist for red gum and he advice me to see periodontist. I showed my gum problem to periodontist and just looking at it he said he wants to do a biopsy. Well he did biopsy and as per biopsy report it’s due to something I am using toothpaste or Listril or something I am allergic to.
Well I changed my toothpaste, no more use listril. Still my gum is red and kind of worst now. I went again to see periodontist and he said he wants to do again one more biopsy????? Kind of don’t get this again biopsy.
Don’t know what’s going on???? Any help is appreciated.

For 2nd advice I went to another periodontist and I was prescribed to
1. Dexamethasone .05 MG/ 5ML
that didn't help then he prescribed
2. Fluocinonide .05% Gel
that helped and improved my red rashes to 40%.

My 2nd Periodontist adviced me to go to a Oral Health Specialist.
The Oral Health Specialist, looking at my gums, said that I have Lichen Planus, and there is no treatment for Lichen Planus.
OHS prescribed me

1. Cyclobenzapr 5 MG
2. Chlorhenxidine .12% rinse

But it didn't work.

Any advice how we can treat or improve Lichen Planus ?

hard to give advice on something that we cannot see.  If a periodontist wants biopsies then it doesnt sound like it would be anything easily diagnosed by just looking at it.  If you dont want the biopsy then get a second opinion from another periodontist.

Make sure you are brushing at least twice a day and flossing at least once a day.
