Five months ago I had two crowns done on the upper right side of my mouth. I had a root canal performed on one, but not on the other. The root canal I had done went horribly - the bleach went into my tissues and I had terrible swelling, my face turned purple/black and I lost feeling in part of my lip and part of my cheek. I have since healed from the root canal. However, within the last two months I have hot/cold sensitivity on the one I didn't have a root canal performed on. I had no problems before having any of this work done. I also have sinus pain now. I initially thought the pain was gum related, but the dentist indicated that was not the case. Should I have a root canal on the other tooth? Will the pain go away? Why do I have the pain?
I also had an onlay done on the lower left side and now have sensitivity when I bite on anything somewhat hard (ie a Cheerio, chip, etc.) I didn't have sensitivity initially. Should I have the onlay replaced? Will the sensitivity go away?
