How Long Does Geographic Tongue Last?
How long does Geographic Tongue typically last in terms of months/years? Is it something that eventually goes away or will this likely recur your whole life?
No, i think mine happened due to stress. I just want to know if this condition ever goes away or if its permanent
My tongue problems have been going on for 7 years. I have gotten a lot of relief by haveing $25,000 in dental work replaced. But the work has to be perfect - if there is any space at the margin of a crown I will get tongue irritation from cement leaking out. Especialy if it is an acrylic based cement - I am allergic to acrylic. Old fashioned zinc phosphate cement is the only kind that doesn't have acrylic. Did your tongue problems start after having dental work done? Mine did.
