I get doctor notes from my 40 dollar under the table chiropractor. Get my back cracked, get a little note telling my job they can't can me. Dentist has to be better than a chiropractor lol. Worst you'll get is an evil eye, a crap question you don't need to explain followed by a note.
(Experience) - 10 years working crap mandatory weekends and overtime jobs. Give them income at their 40 hour or less a week job. Smirk at them and tell them you'd like if they could sign the date to get you another couple more days off.
