I had the same thing. The infection in one tooth finally caused me to loose the front four top teeth from bone loss. I had four implants placed when the teeth were removed and my final crowns placed about 9 months after.
I couldn't be more pleased!
If you can go the implant route, try it!. It's expensive, but my teeth look natural, feel natural and are MINE. No worry about a bridge wrecking good teeth either.
They do require maintenance, with periodic cleanings, but it's SO worth it.
Give it a thought if the costs aren't to great.
Hope this helps some. Best to you,
Gellia
If the infection is dental origin and tooth is restorable, extraction may not be indicated.Seeing an endodontist is advised.
