Jaw Pain

Had a molar extracted almost 5 weeks ago.  Started having jaw pain on the extraction side of my mouth about a week later.  My oral surgeon suggested some exercises I could do and it did help a little.  The instant headache pain i had went away because the regular jaw joint pain I was having suddenly didn't reach my right eye .  I have had no improvement since and my o/s wants me to start therapy.  Will this help ?  Starting to think there will be no end to this , each meal is painful , getting really sick of this.

I agree with mammo, sometimes we have to take care of ourselves and asking for another xray is the sure way i would go also.

You need to have an xray to determine if there is more going on like an infection. Tell your dentist you want this done for YOUR peace of mind to make sure there isn't more going on.  He should have already done this for himself and you.
