Lump in cheek

Hi I woke up and felt a lump on my cheek (right) , I can't see anything in my gums and on my cheek it doesn't look swelled up , though you can definitely feel a lump

Any ideas what it is or how to get rid of

I saw my doctor today who thinks it's some sort of tissue formed together or maybe the start of a abscess she told me to see my dentist before I see her next week.

I also bought some Cordosyl mouthwash

when was the last time you have seen a dentist?....making an appointment is advised.... lumps could be anything, an abscess, a cyst, an infection...
