Minor Tooth Shaking

About five minutes ago I was eating and as I bit down, I heard a small noise and afterwards my tooth was shaky. Firstly, the shaking is very minor as it can only be felt and cannot be seen in a mirror. Also, I recently had braces off (3 weeks) and I know that when teeth are moving, the roots are weak (I currently am wearing bonded retainers). That being the case, will my tooth heal, and if so how long might it take before I start biting on the tooth again (front second to the right)?

Sounds great.  Keep an eye on it and watch for any symptoms.  X-rays are wonderful diagnostic tools but sometimes they can't spot fracture lines.  As long as the symptoms go away, you'll be perfectly fine!  Best wishes.

I got an x-ray today and the tooth is 100% fine. There's no break/fracture. The tooth came loose from a bad biting angle with a little too much pressure, and it should completely heal soon. Thanks Jerome!

I would recommend seeing a dentist to get it evaluated.  There may be a fracture of the tooth or some other problem and it would be best to ensure there isn't any major problem.  Generally a tooth shouldn't feel shaky after braces even with the stress placed on the bone.  It may take some time to tighten up but if that's the case, it would be a good idea to support the tooth as continuous trauma to the tooth wouldn't allow it to properly heal.
