Mouth ulcers and other oral problems

My brother has had prblems with his mouth for about 6 years now. The symptoms are multiple wall to wall ulcerations extending to the lips, but not outside the mouth. These can last for up to nine months at a time. These sores have been tested as not viral originated but could possibly be allergic reactions to certain foods; some of which he knows about. These findings come from a doctor of reflexology or possibly kinesiology. The sores are having a huge effect on both his physical and mental health. Does anyone have any ideas about anything which may ease the pain or even take them away completely?

MEDICAL PROFESSIONAL
It would behoove your brother to either see an oral surgeon or go to a teaching hospital with an oral pathologist on staff.
