Numb lips on eating

About two weeks ago I started to get numb lower lips and chin when eating. I have full dentures that fit onto metal implants in my jawbone. I have had them for about 10 years. Is there any connection with the implants or have I some infection?

Assuming the numbness developed recently and no evidence of infection, the etiology of numbness is probably from excessive loading force imposing on mental foramen. Seeing a dentist to adjust lower full denture is advised.
