Pus on my implant

I am a healthy, 19 year old girl. I lost my frontal tooth 9 years ago and I had to make an implantation 3 days ago. At first the gum under the implant was looking pretty good, but now I have pus on it. What can I do to take it off? Can it get worse?

MEDICAL PROFESSIONAL
Any pain in the area or progressively larger swelling?  Are you taking any antibiotics after the surgery?

What you think is pus may be just food.  Gently rinse the area with warm salt water and go back to your dentist to double check and make sure.
