Question about x rays and nerve damage

I'm post two years tooth extraction with nerve damage. I've have multiple x rays and no one see the nerve damage. Can they not see it or do they choice not to tell me they see it?

Nerve damage can not be identified by x-Ray or image studies.however, peripheral or central nerve dysfunction can be suspected by clinical exam or tests.
