Root canal post three days

I had a root canal on Left lower 1st molar. Three canals showed up on xrays. Pain symptoms X's 5 yrs. Crown on tooth for 7yrs. Root canal done fri and it's monday. Fri nite after local wore off- neg for cold or hot pain. Just general jaw ache from joint injections. Sat- woke to MAJOR discomfort to connection of teeth. Not too much for hot and cold til the evening.  Sun- still achy at all times, pain to bite. (not eating on that side) sensitivity to cold noticed and hit the roof with coffee this am. He made me come in this am put me on antibiotics prophaxtically (hoped I spelled that right) and filed down temp crown. HAD TO hold myself down from the pain with the cold water coming from the drill. He made me feel like I was nuts (I am a new patient) cause he told me that there was NO WAY I was feeling that. Well, I felt it and he made me feel so bad with his terrible chairside manner. Now very scared with the pain I have due to temps of fluids and have to deal with the completion of this and worried that it might continue. Any advice?

I would ask your dentist for a referral to an endodontist (root canal specialist).  Its possible he may have missed a canal (sometimes there are 4).  Another possibility is the tooth is cracked somewhere.
