I would've recommended the sensodyne tooth paste as well for the sensitivity. You can call your dentist and ask for a prescription of Prevident toothpaste, which is a high content fluoride toothpaste that may help and go on a fluoride rinse as well.
I haven't heard of clothing affected the sensitivity of teeth before. Is it possible that you've been conditioned to get a sensation of sensitivity when seeing or wearing that particular material?
The sensitivity occurs when I see or wear clothes (which are not cotton). This feeling comes even if someone wears clothes made out of polyesters.. Also even if I remember the feeling i get sensitivity.. And I also notice My front teeth is becoming transparent . Is it because of the enamel getting lost. I notice the transparency just recently after I started to have sensitivity.
No dental insurance for now as it got expired and cannot get it immediately. so can't go to the Dentist for another few months..Is there anything I can get from over-the-counter.
Any suggestion appreciated.
Thanks
The sensitivity of the tooth has been constant since Oct 2008?
At that point, I would recommend seeking another opinion on the matter. When does the sensitivity occur? It may be galvanic shock, which is when two metal surfaces hit in the mouth and causes a little electrical shock. If your filling is white though, it won't do that. If you are still experiencing problems, I would recommend replacing the filling.
