Swollen gums and cracked tooth

I had four teeth pulled in upper front December 24, 2014. I still cannot wear my partials as they will not go up on gums. I think my dentist is not telling me the truth. He says it might take 5 or 6 months.  Also the tooth next to my eye tooth which was crowned before extraction is breaking off at gum. I believe he made crown too large therefore crowding the tooth out between that eye tooth and the one behind it. Have got appt. to see him next week. Don't know what to do. I feel like he has ruined my upper gums.

I'm not sure what you mean about your partial not going up on your gums. Partials hook to adjacent teeth. Are your gums really swollen?

I have a bone hanging down in the middle where my teeth were pulled that won't go down. My dentist said it might take about six months. It has been four months and no change. I went for a second opinion he told me that bone would have to be surgically removed for anything to fit. This would be major surgery in my mouth. He also told me that a flap under my lip would also have to be removed. Also he told me that I had dry mouth and the other teeth left to hook my partials on were not good that both needed root canals and crowns which are very expensive. Had I known all of that I would not have spent all the money getting a partial and having two more crowns to make my mouth look better if two other teeth were bad on the inside. Any advice.

I can't tell what is wrong with my gums. Dentist says it takes time for the bone to settle and that everything looks fine. I don't trust him. It looks like I am going to have all the front teeth pulled because of the repair needed on the other teeth. I can't keep having them done one tooth at a time but will not use this dentist.
