Swollen jaw

I got my wisdom tooth taken out 3 years ago and the dentist said I'm fine and I haven't realized it till now but my jaw is still swollen. It looks completely disfigured from the other side. What could be causing this?

So when you look at your face, there's an asymmetry there?  You may want to go back to your dentist to get it checked out.  I don't see how its related to the wisdom teeth though but it may be something else causing it.
