Tooth demineralization

Hello, I've got quite bad demineralization in some of my teeth.  My dentist recommended a fluoride toothpaste but ive already being doing that and see little improvements.

I recently saw a product called mi-paste.  It looks interesting and it says it restores enamel and helps with remineralization.  Whats everyone's opinion on this, should i buy it?

It might be worth a try.  I've heard it works fairly well with sensitivity as well.  As long as the demineralization doesn't progress to a cavity, there's no need to do any bonding/fillings on it.  So try to maintain great oral hygiene.  Did your dentist prescribe a fluoride toothpaste?  You may want to ask him what other products he may advise you to use.

Sounds good.  Let me know how it goes.  I hear MI paste works fairly well.  Unfortunately with specific dental products, not alot of research is conducted without some form of sponsorship from the manufacturer.  No one really does a study to figure out which toothpaste is best.  Each company does their own research and usually remark theirs is great.

Thanks for the reply, there are currently no cavities but its the look of them that I do not like.  The dentist said just to continually use a flouride toothpaste but it hasn't helped to much.  I will most likely purchase the mi-paste and use it along side my current toothpaste.
