Tumor after Wisdom teeth removal

I've come to find out that my mom has a tumor where her wisdom teeth use to be. When she had her wisdom teeth pulled she developed this bump. It's not painful and looks like if one side of her gums are largely Inflamed. She's actually had this lump for about 20 years now and she never thought anything of it. Over the years it has grown slightly bigger. She is finally seeing the oral surgeon and waiting on test results. Just wondering of anyone has heard of this or knows what it can be. Anyone waiting for test results knows that it can the longest and most stressful time :/ please help

Hello,

Thank you for your time.

They just removed a small part of it to test.

Have you heard of something like this?

There's no way to really know what it is until the biopsy comes back from the lab.  So did they remove all of it?  Or just a small part to see what it is?
