White Tongue stress

Hi,
Iv recently noticed my tongue being white right at the back of my tongue. The doctor said i had a little bit of oral thrush probably from my asthma inhalers. She gave nystatin and this didnt get rid of it. I have used daktarin oral gel aswel still no help. When i brush it, it goes away for about half an hour then comes back. It also goes away when i chew gum. I went back to the doctor and he said swill my mouth with salt water. I know this isnt from HIV because i have been tested etc. Anyone got any advice its really getting me down and im really anxious about it. My tongue is not sore in any way and when i scrape the white off it doesnt bleed or produce sores or anything.
Please any advice would be much appreciated

Thank you

Hello, I have the same problem for over two years now and it just keep getting worse, the tip of my tongue is cracking . I have been to diferent doctors including an ent and they have done a few test including hiv twice and everything comes back negative. This thing is ruining my life. Pls if anyone finds what the problem is, pls share the info I will appreciate it so much. Im hoping it has a cure and that it might be something the doctors dont usually think of.  Im desperate but Im not giving up. If anyone knows somthing pls help. Thanks everyone

I can now feel this in my throat when i swallow. I have been on 50mg flucanzole for 2 weeks and still no difference. Im really worrying now, what could this be ? Like i said its not sore at all in my mouth or throat it just feels as if something is stuck in my throat when i swallow. The doctor doesnt seem to know much about this subject so im really worrying now. Could this still be thrush with all this treatment? some please help me

Do not worry, my tongue is also white like your, it is nothing that you should be scared from, just try cleaning it with some Lemons, cut them on half and rub them in your tongue, i say again do not worry because it is probably bacteria that live on our tongue and in the throat and it has probably increased. Also you should check yourself, do you have candida or so called (tongue fungus). This also is not scary if it is in first phase.
