Wisdom teeth removal NIGHTMARE!!!!

Hey! I would like to share my experience with u to... I had my top and bottom wisdom teeth removed May 1st 2013, the dentist told me after he finished ditching me up that he left a "bur" in there and would have to remove it the following Monday when he returned from his dental convention in Chicago! (This was a Friday I had surgery) come to find out a bur is basically a drill bit they use! By Monday I could not even open my mouth half an inch, he could not even get into my mouth and not that I was going to let him attempt to remove it. I had it removed finally 6 weeks after it was left there, and had continuous Pain every day as well as numbing under my eye and my top right gums... I just had my third surgery today to remove the bone fragments behind the top of my cheek bone and filled the lower jaw bone to smooth out those pieces of bone. Now the whole right side of my face from my lower eye kid to my chin is super numb. Right down the middle! Even my tongue is frozen completely down the right side... I hope it will regain feeling and the pain everyday will go away.
I am in Ontario Canada.

That's horrible.  I'm sorry that you went through that.  I hope you're going to find a new dentist.

I'm sorry for you beyond words. I'm also in ontario canada and have lost faith in the way our practitioner s seem to operate. It sounds like somewhere along the way a nerve was Inflammed causing the numbness.
I recommend seeing your family physician   If you are so inclined document everything consult an attorney.
More people need to bring to public attention  what is happening with dentists in this country.
