Yellowish Teeth... I've tried everything

I have yellow teeth, and i've tried everything you can use at home to whiten them, for example - whiting toothpaste, ionic white (whiting system off tv) a whiting powder you brush with, whiting gel... and the list goes on... what im asking is what would be the best way to whiten them? spend heaps of money at the dentist getting them to whiten them or go and get veneers... i dnt know what else to do to get them white... nothing seems to work.... has anyone got an answer?

MEDICAL PROFESSIONAL
Before I would consider veneers, and they are a beautiful type of restoration I would try an in house whitening system. In my office we use Brite Smile and we have had wonderful results, especially with teeth that have a yellow shade to them. There are other systems which I don't have the experience with so it would not be right to comment on them. If you smoke or drink colored liquids,ie tea, coffee or colas your teeth will not stay as white as if you didn't have these things no matter what system you used.
