chronic toothache

My wife has chronic toothache (Rt side) since last 15-20 years. She has consulted almost all the dental speciallists. Most of them have advised her root canal treatment. She underwent rootcanal treatment also and tooth extaction too, but resulted zero. She starts pain whenever she lie down and it becomes so severe and unbearable, she had to get up. After some time it subsides automatically. She has also consulted neurologists but that doesn't work. We are now in tremendous tension since the matter is not yet diagnosed. Her running age is 39 years. Please suggest us if any treatment is available.

Seeing an orofacial pain specialist is advised. Clinical differential diagnosis includes, but not limited to, atypical odontalgia, neurovascualr orofacial pain, and trigeminal neuralgia.

Not sure if this will help but have you considered it might be a problem with her sinuses? I only ask because i often get sinus pain which only clears when i sit upright and sometimes the pain feels as though it is in my jaw/tooth. Best of luck and hope you figure it out soon.
