ddsj does not know what a two tooth crown is? not one to get help from!! double crowns are common enough. must be done right.all care must be taken to prepare the teeth properly plus.one tooth takes nearly all the load. eating habits, nuts steak, spongy or tough pizza, hard candies and even crusty bread rolls must be eaten carefully due to the tremendous pressures exerted at all angles.if youv'e ever bitten your tonque ever so slightly you can imagine the pressure of quick closing jaws!!it would seem that your crowns need to be redone. i opted to have a "post" put in both teeth in order to avoid the "double" but i would get an endodentist to do this instead of a general dentist. the difference in cost is not much and both teeth will be much stronger. get rid of yer dentist!! ask if they have an allergy free crown cement. yancy
i am referring to a crown that has two teeth on it. it was made this way because an individual ooth crown was not being retained
