extra teeth

A couple of months ago, my Dentist did a normal x-ray, i now have three buds which are far below my adult teeth roots. and there packed in, I am going to see an oral surgeon soon, is there any possibility of nerve damage, because there far below the gum line and are pretty small, and i think its ridiculous to remove them when the doctor said there's a 98% of them not causing any problems...

yea i agree if no pain dont touch them!!.... why fix something that isnt broken??!!!.....i wouldnt have them removed cause, yes your could have some damage after, the roots of your teeth are very close to the nerve in your jaw, and if they are in very low chances are they are inbeded int he nerve already. going in there and taking them out might aggrivate that erve and cause yoiu some pain...... LOTS of people have more teeth then we are "supposed" to have ( i was one of them) but i had 8 teeth pulled b4 i had braces on.......you can go and see what he says, but ask him your options.. what will happen if you leave them in there and that sorta thing...... good luck....

A lot of people have extra teeth, and go their entire life with no problems.  Unless you are having pain, I'd leave them alone!  You'd know if you have nerve damage.
