I was wondering the result of this. Did you go to the dentist? Was it an abscess?

Hi,
You could be starting an infection at one of the root tips.  Tooth roots go quite deep (or high).

It would be in your best interests to see your dentist and let him evaluate the area with xrays.

Please make an appt ASAP to be on the safe side before it flares up into a really nasty infection.

GOOD LUCK
My best to you,
Gellia
