pain after root canal with heat

I have a crown that is not complete yet it has the permanent build up in.Have not had the crown placed yet but I am having pain when heat hits the tooth is this normal or could there be something wrong? I will be having the crown placed in 2 weeks should I go in sooner..

Call your dentist and ask.  They may want to make a new temp or they may want to temp cement the permanent crown and see how it goes.

I have the permanent build up in the tooth just waiting to get the crown placed on it,but when heat touches it it hurts but it quickly goes away.Really just wondering if this is normal or should I be worried..

Is there a temporary on the tooth too?  You may want to go back to get a new temporary to make sure the tooth is sound.
