super erupted tooth

i was just wondering what can be done for the tooth. there is no pain or anything and it really is just a tiny bit. i guess it pushed down very quickly when i had my temporary filling on after a root canal waiting to get my temp crown.  this is the photo of it http://i18.photobucket.com/albums/b139/Paintball4lyfe/get-attachmentaspx-3.jpg  i was just wondering if there is anything that can be done to fix this problem. im going to be getting the crown put on in about a week and the tooth above has pushed down just a little bit. enough to scare me looking at it. or does it just look like some gum recession above that tooth

that tooth has no filling on it. there is no pain   im not sure if you looked through my photobucket but my tooth with the filling is on the opposite side.  im just wondering if it looks like a little gum recession or if it super erupted a little nit and what you think the dentist can do to prevent any problems with it in the future. im going to tr to get to the dentist in a few days. like i said though there is no pain really in the tooth. its just making me nervous :(

I do see some gum recession and swelling. It could be from the filling. I take it they did an impression for the new crown? Did that hurt when it was done? You can always call your dentist and ask if you can stop by to have it looked at. It does look like irritation, but you want to make sure there is no infection going on.
