taste and tongue sucking

Hi, a month or so ago i had a tooth pulled that had had a couple of abcesses. Prior to getting it pulled i was having a metal taste and had begun to suck on my teeth. I broke that by sticking my tongue between my front teeth so as not to suck on my teeth. anyway now i have the habit of keeping my tongue between my front teeth so that didn't work out so well lol but my mouth still has the metally taste and i keep sucking the roof of my mouth and my mouth feels all dry and still has that metal type taste. I am 48 and in menopause as well don't know if that would have any effect or not but anyway the taste seems to come from the  back of my tongue. thanks for any info you can offer

When did you start taking the zoloft?  Zoloft has a side effect of dry mouth.  That dry mouth may be contributing to your metallic taste.
