teething baby

My nephew is 5months and he has a eruption cysts, which looks like a dark purple blister.. his dr says it normal but he has had it for a while now... have any of ya seen this before and if so how long did it take for the tooth to come out and the cyst to go away... thank ya

How long has it been present?

If its been a few weeks, you may want to consider getting a treatment on it which would include removing the cyst.  

I would discuss with your dentist to find out your options.  They may need to refer to a pediatric dentist.
