throat

i had a growth on my tonsils and my doctor said it was a papiloma. it was removed and cauterized. he doesnt know that i smoke and said my only limitations were to stay away from citrus and spicy foods. does anyone think it would effect anything if i smoke ?

papiloma is the human papilome virus correct??.... if thats the case YES is effects your cells in the throat and also the cervix of females.... iwould suggest quitting..even tho i know hard said then done

Your body is telling you something...listen to it.  Smoking is by far the worse thing  you can do to yourself.  You will eventually pay the price for smoking, no way to get around it.  You have an opportunuty to stop and lead a long healthy life, why would you choose any other route?  I know you think "it won't happen to me" but trust me, it will.
