tooth extraction gone wrong
i had a tooth pulled last week.when the dentist pulled the tooth,the bone was thin behind it and now i have 2 teeth possibly 3 teeth that are loose. it is painful and very hard to eat due to my loose teeth hitting my bottom teeth even though i chew on my left side. what she be done at this point?
Hi,
Whatever you do, DON'T wiggle them! There is a good chance they will tighten back up but if you wiggle them you are leaving room for bacteria to get into the space between the tooth and the bone.
If you are not comfortable going back to the dentist that did the initial extraction, seek a different dentist for an appt. You may need splinting of the teeth or some other treatment but the only way to know what is available is to go.
GOOD LUCK and get in with that appt, ASAP.
