upper partial denture

hi;I had a partial upper denture done last week tuesday, with 6 teeth 4 in the front and the next 2 on one side, right next to them;I am doing pretty much ok so far,I have to mentaly get used to them;eating is getting better evry day;my question is (beeing that my dentist is away till friday so,I can not talk to him):sometimes,I have this pressure sensation in my whole mouth ,all over my upper jaw, like the denture is pushing together my remaining teeth..if I take the denture out and put it back in I feel ok for awhile then the sensation comes again and is very anoying;I can not keep them out,I have 2 small children(it is unfortunate that at my age I have to wear dentures, but ..no other option for me at this time);I am very nervous,I have a hard time and do not know why I have this feelings and what to do....
please help me;is this something normal?when somebody has dentures,do we actually feel them always beeing there or it will disapear once I get used to them?

I got full uppers a year ago.I am just now getting used to them.I spoke funny I felt like I had a plate in my mouth.I felt like I looked funny.I got home that first day and cried omg what did I do?I had 17 teeth pulled and temps put right in,It was the worst thing I ever went through. It gets better. Now I,m adjusting to contact lenses.See if I was wealthy I would have had implants instead of dentures and lasik surgery instead of contacts,We all do what we have to do for health and in my case vanity.
I never went out I saved for months for my dentures.I only went to work.the day I was to go I was so excited.I came home feeling awful but that passed soon.I use a three minute soak I do it while I am in the shower nobody even realized I had dentures.I never smiled untill I got them,Now I get compliments on my nice whie teeth and pretty blue eyes.I feel like I have my eyes and teeth back.I am almost fifty years old and I feel like I am in my 20,s again.See my my teeth and eyes were my best features when I was younger,I used bleaching kits overused them and never wore my eyeglasses just for reading .I went through so much .In a few months you won,t even know you have dentures, take care of your self the rest of your teeth have eye exams etc.and do the same for your children,

I don't think it is unusual to have this feeling but it is possible that the partial needs some adjustment. See your dentist when he returns. At this point I think you should keep wearing it.
